I have noticed that the speeds for the BSNL lines have been reduced. The upto 2Mbps lines provided by BSNL does not allow you to use the speeds to the maximum. The download sppeds expected are about 200-220 Kbps on a 2Mbps line but the speeds that I'am getting is only upto 180Kbps. BSNL announced that they were going to upgrade the 2Mbps lines to 8 Mbps about a year ago but I do not see any progress regarding the same. BSNL has the best broadband service in India. I hope they live up to it and keep the customers glued to their BSNL connections.
